A supportive art biscuit that represents the symbol of the Palermo football eagle, created to support the Palermo women’s football team newly promoted to Serie B which risked not registering for the championship due to lack of resources. The idea, which falls within the scope of the “Il Gusto dell’Arte” project, is by Tiziana Serretta, an artist from Palermo who has obtained various awards, including international ones, one above all the accreditation from the UN for Agenda 2030 projects, and who decided to contribute to the Palermo women’s soccer team. “I wanted to support the women’s rosanero team, which represents one of the flagships of Palermo’s sports representation on the national scene, because first of all as a woman, I believe that realities like these represent an extraordinary example of female emancipation, of breaking down differences of gender and social inclusion. The biscuit that symbolizes L’Aquila rosanero is part of my artistic projects that always have a solidarity value, I thank the master Paolo Forti who made the bio-vegan biscuit, rigorously by hand, with ancient milled Majorca flour wheat a stone, and I hope that realities like these find the support of even local entrepreneurs because it is absurd that a sporting heritage like this could run the risk of being lost”.
